Are there any APIs or is it possible at all to Edit or Sign a pdf document online and save it back online.

Currently we open a pdf from website, Sign it and Save it locally and then Upload it back to website.

New requirement is to open the pdf in cloud, Sign it or fill the form and save it back in cloud.

They want to open the unsigned PDF file from our interface into Adobe Reader on their computer (local/off-line) use the signing feature from within Adobe Reader on their computer, and in the end save the file back to the website repository as a Signed document.

I've moved this from the poorly named Community Help forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Acrobat Reader forum so that proper help can be offered.

Thank you for the responses and pointing to Adobesign url.

However, this user does not want to use Adobesign. The requirement is to open the unsigned PDF file from our web interface into Adobe Reader on their computer (local/off-line), use the signing feature from within Adobe Reader on their computer, and in the end save the file back to the website repository as a Signed document.

Ours is an asp.net website and users upload documents to save it in a repository.

Is there anyway to communicate between the Reader and the website such that once the user signs, it can be saved back to the online repository.

May be possible when you create a plugin (written in C/C++) for Acrobat Reader.
