Hello,

any news about the issue reported here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader/problem-with-print-function-after-windows-10-update-20... ?
This is still not working, and for security reason we can't disable the sandbox.

Will this issue be fixed by Adobe now that it's a know issue (ADC-4304271) ?

Thanks,

Best regards

Previous versions of Windows 10 getting out of support, we have more and more users upgrading to 2004 since it's the latest and getting the problem with our applications using IE to show embedded PDF. Is there any reason why the previous topic was closed without any additional answer? Is it automatic because of the lack of activity? It's been 6 months since 2004 released, is there any plan to patch it someday?

While we wait, does anyone know if we can update registry in a way to set these recommended workarounds?
Disable Protected View and/or "Allow PDF files access to all websites".

I need to make this change on 200+ windows machines and currently don't have a way to it efficiently.

Thanks in advance.

I'd hope, but not necessarily expect, that this is all documented in the Acrobat Enterprise Deployment Toolkit.

This seems to still affect printing on 20H2. Its a poor workaround to disable protected mode but it may be the only good option unless users are made to save the file and then print. On some applications this does not work well so you end up with the disable option. I've not been able to get it more granular by trusting certain URLs which would be better.

Here is a group policy pref that targets the affected builds of Windows 10.
