I have many PDFs containing images of mathematical equations (old statistics research papers) and I would like to make a highlighted rectangle around parts of these images. Can I do this using Adobe Reader? If not, is there other software that I can use to do this?

Thanks,

Avi

Hi Avikenny,

Apologies for the delay in response. As described above, you want to highlighted rectangle around the images of mathematical equations, correct?

This option is still not available. However, you may try highlighting the PDF as described in the help article - https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/using/commenting-pdfs.html#add_a_line_arrow_or_shape

Also, you may fill the Adobe wish form-https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html to file a feature request with the product team to highlight with the box around the text.

Regards

Amal
