Can't open files with Acrobat reader DC

I am not able to open pdf files with Acrobat reader DC. I tried repairing and reinstalling the program but that worked for couple days and then it stoped working again. I am looking for a permenant solution and any help would be appreciated.

Sorry for the trouble caused.

 

As you have mentioned, you are not able to open the PDFs in the application. Please provide few details as asked below:

- What happens when you try to open the PDFs? Do you get any any error messages?

- Do you open PDF directly by clicking on it or you open it from the Reader application using the option File > Open.

- Are you opening PDFs from the local storage or from a network drive?

- Are you able to launch the application directly? 

- It would be helpful if you can share the application and the OS version number. (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html)

-Nothing happen when I click on a pdf file. No error messages.

-The program itself can't be open.

- Yes, I am trying to open files from a local storage.

-Nope

-I reinstalled the program recently so it should be on the latest version. PC is running Windows 10.
