Cannot open some pdf files

I'm trying to open and print some pdf files so I can do my year-end accounting work.  There are numerous files that I cannot open with any application.  When I go into Properties > Details  I see that the Attributes Property has a value of ALOM.  The files I can open have a value of AL.

Does anyone know what causes this to occur and if I can change it so that I can open the files?

I'm using Windows 10.

I think this may be an offline file in OneDrive. I don't know how files come to be offline, or how you get them back.

Thanks for the response. It prompted me to search for solutions on how to
bring the files back "online". After trying a few things the one that
worked was doing a OneDrive reset.
