I cannot print because I cannot get my Acrobat Reader to open or read anything.  It has a (14) at the end of the message.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, you are unable to print the PDF as the application do not open or read anything.

 

 - Would you mind sharing the screenshot of the error message for a better understanding?

 - Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try to open a different PDF file and check.

 

If its an issue with all the PDF documents and the application cannot open or read anything, please remove the application using the Acrobat Cleaner Tool https://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the link https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
