Catalina upgrade

I have just upgraded my Mac from Mojave to Catalina and can no longer use 'Reader'.  On top of that I am unable to make contact with a human being from Adobe.  I pay an annual subscription and there seems little point in keeping the account if the product 'doesn't do what it says on the tin' or I can't receive any acceptable assistance from the providor.  Can anyone help please?

Reader is free, so there is no support for it. I don't know what you pay for, there should be support for that (not Reader)...?

Reader is available for Catalina but you may need to get the newest version from http://get.adobe.com/reader since Catalina blocks all old apps.
