Cursor stutters when single-clicking a PDF file after installing Acrobat reader

  • Adobe software title and version (Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, version 20.12.20048.400142)
  • Operating system (Windows 10 pro, i5-10300H, 8GB RAM, GTX 1650 Ti)
  • Issue happens when I installed the Adobe Acrobat Reader and once I click on any file, it will run through Licensing or agreements for the first time, after that, it goes into the file itself. Then if I close the file and go back to file explorer, whenever I click a PDF file, my cursor will lag as shown in the video below. This only happens when I click on PDFs, not for Word, Excel, txt, images,etc.
