Hi,
I have a pdf file that I downloaded from Dropbox. The file has fillable fields with text inside of them. When I save and open the file with Adobe Reader, the fileds are blank and I can't type into them. I tried opening with the default Microsoft Edge reader and I can read/edit the fillable fields. I tried other pdf files from the same Dropbox folder and they are working fine. Could this be an issue that is file specific or is there a setting that is causing this problem?

Thanks!

  • Which version of Acrobat Reader to you have?
  • Which OS?
  • Yes, the file could be corrupted.  Or maybe it's not compatible with your version of Acrobat Reader.
