I have done a search to try to rectify this and am unable to work out a fix. How can I get support?

This happens if the used fonts were not embedded into the particular PDF. When viewing it on a different computer the Reader takes a font from the operating system that might be suitable, but the result is often far from perfect. With Adobe Acrobat Reader you can't fix this. Contact the author of the PDF to get a version with embedded fonts.
