Hello All,

I entered some text in few of the text fields in a fillable form in PDF Acrobat and saved the file and now I'm unable to make changes to that entered text. Is there a way to edit the text in the text fields?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to make changes to the text in the form field after you saved the file.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC is a freeware application with limited fuctionalities. It is used to view, read, fill, sign and annotate the PDF file. For more information please check the help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/reader/faq.html

Have you signed the PDF file after filling the text in the fillable text field and saved the file? If yes, in that case the PDF becomes read only and gets locked for further changes. Signature should be the last thing to be done on a PDF file.

You may try to get in touch with the creator of the PDF form to get a new unsigned copy of the document.

Hope this information will help. Let us know if you are referring to something else.

Regards

Amal
