I can't open a scanned PDF file on Windows

Today I scanned a PDF file to my computer; this evening when I went to open it, it would not open and it wouldn't print.  I received an error message stating that access was denied to the file.  Please advise.

We are sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to open or print the scanned file?

 

  1. What is the workflow/steps you are doing to scan and open the file?
  2.  What is the version of the Acrobat Reader DC application you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the latest version 20.12.20048 installed.
  3. Is this a issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please check with a different PDF file, if its a file specific issue please share the file with us for testing also please share the screenshot of the error message for a better understanding.
