Installation of Adobe Reader DC on windows 7

Hello I got a problem trying to install reader DC on my win7 (Home ed.) laptop. The installer just deletes the exsisting reader version (11) and does not install anything. The error message says that a new version is already installed.

I tried also to use adobe cleaner and restart the PC but the problem is still there.

It's urgent...can you help me please?

Sorry for the delay in response.

It is observed the issue is primarily due to update issue with C++ runtime update, you may try the suggestions from this discussion: Newer version already installed and let us know if that helps.
