Let printer determine colours

I have been printing successfully from Adobe reader for ages.

I am now reprinting a booklet I last printed in 2016.

The cover has a nice photo on, which took many attempts to adjust to print correctly on my laser printer.

I used to print this with the 'Let printer determine colours' unchecked.

This used to give a noticeable difference in the colours.

But no more. Checking or unchecking this box now makes no difference.

This is a problem, as the picture on my booklet now does not match the previous run, in fact it now looks rubbish.

Has something changed or am I going mad......

Hi Rufus,

Apologies for the delay in response, I hope you would be able to fix it by now.

If the problem still persists,  we need some more information for a better understanding.

Please try to update the application to the latest version. Go to Help > Check for Updates. To know more about the latest version available please follow the link - DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

Try to repair installation (Windows only). Go to Help > Repair Installation.

Try to reset the preferences to default. To know how to reset the preferences please refer to the link - How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to def... | Adobe Community

If that doesn't work,

Remove the application from the system using Adobe Cleaner tool - Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Install the application again using the link - Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Let us know if that works for you

Regards,

Amal
