Is there a setting we can activate in Adobe Reader 2017 to ensure people are able to sign with their Smartcard certificates i.e. from Tools Certificates, Digitally Sign?
Right now, only those who sign with Acrobat Standard or Microsoft Word can sign with their Smartcard certificates. Those who have Reader are restricted to self-signed digital ids which are not reliable since anyone can create them with false information. Meanwhile we know the certificates are available because we can see them in Reader when we go to Edit, Preferences, Signatures, Identities and Trusted Certificates, More, Digital IDs.
