Hi all,

We are facing an issue since monthes and none of the suggestion we have been foud on adobe support or others works...Our users cannot open more than 2 PDF if the try to acces them using DFS (whatever the version) and if PDF files are hosted on a Windows server 2019. If files are moved back to a 2008R2 server for example, it works...

The ony way to do it is, or to disabled the protection mode, but it's not a solution... ! Or to drag and drop the files in adobe acrobat reader DC... it's also not a solution but a worraround..

Why this issue is known since at least 1 year and the issue is still not solved. Should we stop using acrobat reader and suggest to use other readers ? Even Microsoft Edge is able to open multiple PDF files in the same windows (different tab)...

Thank you in advance,

Best rgards

I can confirm this is happening to us too

We are using DFS on Windows Server 2019

This is very frustrating for our users and we don't want to disabled the protection mode

Dragging the file into the acrobat windows also work as a workaround for now

Please fix this ASAP please !!!!

Good luck with your wishes.

This problem has not been resolved and it dates nack to 2012 (who knows, maybe before that).

Have you also consulted with Microsoft support to see what suggestion they have on this? (if any)
