Open PDF in Adobe Reader using Chrome Extension

Hi,

 

I'm trying to open a file stored in SharePoint Online using the Adobe Reader Chrom Extension.  When I click the Adobe icon, I do not see any option to open the file.  Is this possible?  I understand that the extension is supposed to enable opening a file from the web directly in Adobe Reader DC.
