Hi,
We have version 2019.012.200.40 installed on win10 (fully patched). The adobe password field does not allow the paste of a copied password from Outlook. This partiular format looks to have been added to the email from a web source (HTML). Users have to paste elsewhere to recopy and paste.
Can you confirm if this inability to paste ino the field is by design, or an issue. Fix or config available?
(Users were able to paste into this field on a presivous version.)
Thanks

Hey there!
In the description given above, are you referring to the password protected pdf file or some form field which is password protected? Also, you mentioned that password copied from outlook doesn't allow to paste into the dialog box, but when same password pasted elsewhere and recopied then it works.
Is this common with every pdf which requires password or its a specific one? Please share the exact workflow, where exactly this pdf is located, is it an attachment to the Outlook email or saved locally on your system.
If possible, please share a video clip of the same.
Thanks,
Akanchha

Morning,
Thanks for your reply. Referring to the password prompt when opening a protected pdf. The actulal password is copied from the body of the email. This issue is affecting all our users who are on this particular version.
It looks like the Adobe password field no longer accepts HTML formated text. This is why we need to paste elsewhere and recopy. This removes the HTML format.
Thanks
Matt
