I have Acrobat Reader and when i scan a document on my Epson scanner the pdf shows the Adobe toolbar on the top and free trial options on the right. i never used to have this. Any ideas how to get rid of, thanks

Acrobat Reader is free to use so there is no FREE TRIAL period for that one. 

Perhaps, you launched another app like Acrobat Pro DC instead?

 

Do you have a paid Creative Cloud Plan?

So once ive scanned the pdf shows the toolbar. My question is if i send that to someone will they be able to also see the tolbar and access my files?

When they open the file in Acrobat Reader they will see the environment of there Reader.

Just Acrobat Reader DC but somehow it seems different but thanks for your reply. So from what youre saying whoever opens it can only see their own files right?
