In Adobe Reader, latest version, I am unable to save Preferences. I will check or uncheck a checkbox and when I return to the program later or open another file the setting will have reverted to what it was before I tried to change it.
Windows 10 64-bit fully updated. Multiple different computers.
I saw a post on here that said that if you changed Preferences with no files open they would save (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/preferences-not-being-saved/m-p/8476119#M187858). I tried this by reinstalling Reader and immediately going to Preferences and making a change. I then closed Reader and reopened it. The changes were still not saved, so that did not solve this problem.
