We have a PDF that is only accessible from an intranet hub that we would like to prevent employees from saving to their desktop. We've already applied the security policies to prevent printing, editing and copying of text which works great but now they're wondering if we can take it even further and prevent employees from saving it to their desktop.

Understanding that anything viewed in a web browser is stored in a temp folder and anyone tech-savvy enough will know how to get it, we're simply looking at a front-end solution. The PDF is only accessible within our network so we do have control over the overall system environment so we're also open to suggestions on third-party solutions as well.

Probably not without an expensive digital rights management system. Even the preventions you've added to keep staff from copying, editing...etc. are just a plastic padlock on your shed. Somewhat easy to get around.
