Most text readers allow one to easily select and then print a portion of the document. This is helpful when one wishes a printed copy of a portion of a document, maintaining formatting, for reference purposes.

My Adobe Acrobat Reader DC lacks this important function. The suggested work-around is awkward in the extreme.

I wonder why Adobe has chosen to cripple its product. Any ideas?

Hi there

We are sorry for the trouble. As described you are unable to print the selected portion of the PDF

Would you mind sharing the workflow/steps you are doing to print the PDF file? Also please share the screenshot of the print screen with all the options you have there.

Also, what is the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and make sure you have the latest version 20.009.20074 installed from the help menu > check for updates.

Please try the steps provided in a the help article https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/print-portion-page-acrobat-reader.html and seeif that helps

keep us posted with the results

Regards

Amal
