Question about highlighting in PDF app for iPad

Help!!!!!

I am using PDF Expert: PDF Reader, Editor for iPad with my Apple Pencil.  I want to be able to highlight my document like the first photo, but it only highlights that way on the first page.  The rest of the document highlights like the second photo.  

help if you can please!!

We are sorry for the trouble. As described you are using PDF Expert to edit PDF on iPad, It is a non Adobe application. Please get in touch with the PDF Expert team for more information.
