Question on applying security update

We use puppet to build servers and install software.  If I have base version 19.010.20064 installed and need to apply an update to resolve security vulnerabilities the install fails with a complete new install.  That is the base file.. the MUI.exe and the update MSP file.

To update adobe via puppet, do I just create a package with the MSP file and use MSIEXE?

Thank you in advance!

1. Make sure your Acrobat Reader redistribution license is kept up to date. Many companies let it lapse or even don't take it out in the first place.  https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/acrobat/pdf-reader/volume-distribution.html

2. You can probably just work with the MSP as required, but you will need the info in the Acrobat/Reader Enterprise Deployment guide, I think, to bypass UI. https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/index.html

3. You have missed about a dozen updates, some with critical security fixes. https://supportdownloads.adobe.com/product.jsp?platform=windows&product=10 (patches are cumulative, this is to show the list). I'd recommend looking into subscribing to Adobe's info on new patches, rather than relying on third parties to flag them up.
