I have four or more affected systems with managed users and domain admins all reporting the same issue. All systems running current software. Reader DC "send file as e-mail attachment" does not open a new outlook e-mail window and as a result does not attach file.
I've already tried all available preference settings, how to fixes found. Reader is configured correctly.
Please confirm if you receive any particular error when you try to attach the file.
Also if you could add a scheenshot for a better understanding.
You may refer to the link below to attach a screenshot:
And in the meanwhile you can try the repair using the Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
and try again and let me know if it helps.
so I used the cleaner tool and then re-installed. Error still exists. Nothing to share from app. Used event viewer to provide the following output.
[ Name] Application Error

We are also having this problem at our organization. Hope there will be a solution to this soon.
So now half my company is not able to use Adobe Acrobat. This is a very pressing issue. Please have some priority put on this.
Here is the error we receive when we try to email a PDF as an attachment from within Acrobat.
Windows 7 Pro
Office 365 - 2016
Our company is also having this problem with multiple users.
OS & Software:
Windows 7/10 - 64-bit
Office 365 - 2016 - 32-bit
This is impacting both Adobe Reader DC and Adobe Reader 11 (Current versions)
Some users don't get an error and nothing happens. Others are getting the 32BitMAPIBroker.exe error.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you, We have identified the issue and working on its fix.
Will update you all, once fix is ready to reach you.
-Thanks and Regards
Add me to the list.
Please notify me as well.
I also have a couple users that have encountered this issue, yet it still continues to work on my workstation. We share similar setups: Windows 10 x64, Office 365 x64, and Adobe Reader DC Version: 2015.020.20039. Just following to hopefully see a resolution soon.
I am having the same issues. On Windows 7 Pro 32bit machines with office 365 x32 (OUTLOOK - 2016) and Adobe Reader DC Version: 2015.020.20039.7108
We are actively working on a patch to fix this issue. Meanwhile, I have shared a workaround with users on this thread over email.
please send me the workaround, too. We have exactly the same problem. 60 users in our company not able to use this function.
Office 365 / 2016 32 bit on Windows 7 or 10, 32 or 64 bit
may I get your workaround mail, too? Been following this thread since its beginning, same issue with 32 bit Office 365 and newest Adobe Reader on Windows 10.
Thanks in advance
Could you please send me the workaround? Because we have this issue also with one of our customers.
Windows 2012 RDS 64bit, Office365 proplus and Adobe Reader DC.
Thanks a lot!
Please send the workaround to me, too. Same issue with 32 bit Office 365 and newest Adobe Reader on Windows 10.
Have a nice day.
I have sent the workaround as requested.
