Reader DC "send file as e-mail attachment" button not working: Outlook 2016

I have four or more affected systems with managed users and domain admins all reporting the same issue.  All systems running current software.  Reader DC "send file as e-mail attachment" does not open a new outlook e-mail window and as a result does not attach file.

I've already tried all available preference settings, how to fixes found.  Reader is configured correctly.

Hi, Sorry about the issues with “Attach to email” functionality in latest update of Acrobat. Our team has identified the root cause and is working proactively towards a fix soon. Meanwhile, as a temporary workaround, there is a registry setting that can restore the functionality at your end. Please confirm if you receive any particular error when you try to attach the file.
Also if you could add a scheenshot for a better understanding.

And in the meanwhile you can try the repair using the Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

so I used the cleaner tool and then re-installed.  Error still exists.  Nothing to share from app.  Used event viewer to provide the following output.

Our company is also having this problem with multiple users.

OS & Software:

Windows 7/10 - 64-bit

Office 365 - 2016 - 32-bit

This is impacting both Adobe Reader DC and Adobe Reader 11 (Current versions)

Some users don't get an error and nothing happens. Others are getting the 32BitMAPIBroker.exe error.

I also have a couple users that have encountered this issue, yet it still continues to work on my workstation. We share similar setups: Windows 10 x64, Office 365 x64, and Adobe Reader DC Version: 2015.020.20039. Just following to hopefully see a resolution soon.
