Reader installation doesn't work.

Hello,

I'm trying to install Reader on my MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 but, after two days, it is stil "In progress" end if I try to switch off the computer, I can't, because I'm not allowed to do it. 

There appears a message that tell: Impossible to switch off the computer because the installation is working.

Anyone could help me, please?
