I am running windows 10 on a laptop and have for many years managed to open pdf files in adobe reader without any issues.  I now cannot open and receive

"Adobe Acrobat could not open ooc.pdf because it is either not a supported file or because the file has been damaged (for example it was sent via e-mail attached and wasn't correctly decoded".

These files all worked up until Sunday and I can open them through edge, but some are on autorun USBs that I have spend a lot of money on and are a bit of a pain to open through the index.

I have already uninstalled and resinstalled Adobe

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
