Adobe Community,
Help me out here. I have a bazarre issue that has thrown every Adobe Support person for a loop so far.
On some PDFs the text within is all screwed up, taking on all sorts of fonts and formatting and making documents very difficult to read. This issue doesnt seem to have a consistent trigger that I have been able to sus out. If the same file is opened on another computer from the same source it will look fine.
I have attached two images for reference that illustrate the issue.
When I save files that are glitched out it will cement the issue and the next recipient will see the same glitchy version of the file.
Things that I have tried so far:
Clean Install
Updating OS and all drivers
Wiping registry for all Adobe files
Changing all sorts of text related formatting preferences
Manually deleting all Adobe files from all users on the PC
Letting Adobe Support take remote control of the PC to troubleshoot for 2+ hours
System Info:
Lenovo X1 Carbon
Windows 10 Pro: Build 19042
Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version: 20.013.20074
