When I open a pdf file on our intranet through a browser (in this case chrome), it opens in the browser without any problem. When I open another pdf file on our intranet through the same browser, it does not open but gives an message: "This PDF package contains multiple files. Adobe recommends Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat version 8 or higher to work with documents from a PDF package."

I have Acrobat Reader DC.

It happens only with some specific PDF files. When I save the file locally and open it within Adobe Reader DC itself it opens without any problem. Does the browser preview have any limitations?

Or can this problem be solved.
