Unable to open pdf files in adobe reader dc

Hi, failing to open pdf documents. The moment I clicked the adobe reader icon, I would instantly receive a message saying  "unknown error occurred".The error code being

fc53b3c5-9fe3-4a41-9914-8974dff41662.

What is the cause of this problem and how can it be rectified?

Please provide the below mentioned information so that we can provide a resolution for the issue

  1. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 
  2. Windows Version and build number
  3. Steps that the user is performing on Application which results in crash
  4. PDFs with which the crash is being experienced
  5. Crash logs Please follow steps mentioned here to get crash logs (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/collect-logs-crash-freeze.html)
