Unable to read PDF without font package

Hello, I have a new Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3725 multi function printer. Every time I try to scan to PDF I get an error message regarding a missing font package (attached). The message directs me to download the package from the Adobe site and when I get to the site I see the name of the font package to download (attached). When I try to download nothing happens. The weird thing is that I can open other PDFs, just not ones scanned from my printer. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
