In our premise, we are using Acrobat Reader XI (version 11.0.10) and Acrobat Reader DC on many Windows OS including Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1. We observed that, upgrading the Adobe application to newer version are getting failed. On most of the Machines we have installed all Windows OS updates and then after that, these Adobe upgrade get successfull.

On OS Windows 8.1, even though we have installed all Windows updates (from control panel) and vc redist 2019 package, still the Adobe updates is getting failed via the "Check for Updates..." option. It shows the error description as "Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action InstallWebResources, location: <Product Install Path>\AcroCEF\RdrServicesUpdater.exe".

Similarly for Windows 7 SP1 (64-bit) with all Windows updates installed, the checking and isntalling Adobe update gets fail. It shows error as "An error occurred. Please check for updates again later. Error: 130200"

Please provide your input that would help me to resolve this. Thanks in advance.
