Acrobat 7 won't update

Thank you for your help with this.  I was happily using Acrobat Professional version 7.1 when my computer crashed and I needed to replace the hard disk. No problem, I restored everything important from backups, but when I tried to use Acrobat Professional it was disallowed due to "configuration change."

Your  original post describes the problem, which I understand to be disallowance of registration. I have installed the "free version" provided by Adobe. But I cannot download the update to bring it to 7.1.0.

I know Adobe wants me to buy a new version and I will for a new computer, but not this old one. I spent several hundred dollars on Acrobat Professional 7 and its all I need on this machine. Any help here? I need the update for Windows computer.

Please check if this works Download Adobe Acrobat 7 and Adobe Creative Suite 2 products
