Hi Meenakshi,

Thanks for a prompt reply.

With all due respect, I have been successfully creating PDFs using Acrobat 8 Pro with Word 2003 on Win 7 for the last 6 years and it is only since yesterday that I am getting this error.

So actually it has been Compatible on Win 7.  I have reinstalled Office and Acrobat Pro 8.1 but it does not fix the issue.

Would be grateful if you have other suggestions for resolving this.

Many thanks for your help

Hi rajp49347953

Acrobat 8 is not compatible with Windows 8. So as others informed you in earlier comment it may or may not work.

In case it won't work there is no way to diagnose the issue as you are using it on a non-compatible platform.

As a last resort, I can suggest you to Repair Office 2003 & Acrobat 8 (navigate to Help menu & repair the installation).

Check if it works.

Else you can try creating PDF from Acrobat itself if you are able to work successfully with Acrobat.

Regards,
Aadesh

Hi Aadesh,

Just to Re-Clarify - I am running Windows 7 - not Windows 8.

It was working perfectly on my Win 7 machine until yesterday.

Thanks,

Raj
