I've used Acrobat 9 PRO for Mac for about two years (or more) very successfully. One feature that I particularly relied on is the realignment of scanned PDFs where the page was not fully four-square straight up. That was done automatically when I tried to insert text highlighting. The program would first re-scan such misaligned pages and then align them perfectly upright, as preparation for inserting an exactly horizontal linear highlighting on text.
Suddenly in the last few days this rescanning and realigning function has failed. Every other function in the program continues to work well. I've reinstalled from the CD wth no improvement.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is this function somehow incompatible with the new Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.4? Any constructive comments appreciated. Thanks.
