Acrobat DC downsized my photos

I made a pdf with Acrobat DC. It has many photos. Each photo I used was 300 or 400 dpi. I saved it as a pdf/x 1a and ran the preflight, and it said no problems.  But when I uploaded the file to an online printer, most of the photos were less than 300 dpi and were not accepted for printing. Is there a way to raise the resolution of the photos without redoing each one?

What was the source file/program that created the document? It is generally best to re-create the PDF from the source file/s.

There are Acrobat Pro Preflight Profiles or Single Checks for image resolution that can be run before saving as PDF/X and then again afterwards.

Thank you, Stephen.

That is very good to know. I did save the file on a flash drive a few days

before I saved it as a PDF/X , so instead of losing many pages, I lost only

a few.
