Acrobat DC exits upon launch

New Here ,
Jul 28, 2016 Jul 28, 2016

New installation of Acrobat DC (ADC) through Creative Cloud (CC) on Windows 10.

Upon launching ADC, it exits between 5 and 25 seconds later, with or without a file loaded, whether it was launched from CC, from the desktop, or from a PDF file.

No error message appears.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and it behaves the same.

I logged off CC and logged on again, and it behaves the same.

Any suggestions?

Hi, Do you see any sign in dialog after Acrobat quits? If yes, please sign into the shown dialog and license your copy of Acrobat.

If not, delete the content of following folders(do not delete the folders, delete only the content of these folders):

* C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\SLCache

* C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore

After deleting the content, relaunch Acrobat. You should see a sign in dialog now and signing into the dialog should resolve the issue.

The exercise made no difference.  I notice the Preferences folder is empty.

I launched ADC and quickly set some Preferences before it exited, and still see no preferences files
