acrobat dc keeps asking me for update in my app list, but i dont want DC

hi,

i have acrobat pro from my CS Suite, (older version) which is ok for me, but since subscribing to my photo CC package,

there is a acrobat dc logo at the top of my apps list, which asks me to update frequently since 6 month, which is kind of annyoing, as i dont have it installed

and i dont want it.

how could i get rid of this issue?

disable cc's automatic startup when you login.

you only need to run your cc app once every 30 to 91 days and you only need to leave it open for less than 1 hr.

if you have more computer expertise you can edit, C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0\AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat

or

/Users/<user name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0/AdobeUpdaterPrefs.dat

Hi Peter Schober,

Please try updating your Creative Cloud desktop app which will show acrobat as "Try" instead of "Update" if you are not entitled to its subscription .

i ve been running auto updater - so, CC app was always up to date.

now i closed it and started again:

also i disabled auto start when i boot my mac.

dc is still on top of the list and asking for an update.

i will renboot now several times, and report back if it helped!
