I'm just now finding out that the update or upgrade doesn't have the command to merge files into one doc. Went to the chat guys who referred me to the tutorials, which don't open or play on this subject. Anybody out there been able to resolve this? I ran the repair cycle and it didn't fix it. Running Windows 10 on a stable desktop.
Thanks...

Sure it does. You need to make sure you're actually using Acrobat and not (Acrobat) Reader, though.

Not sure I explained this correctly. The update from Acrobat Pro to Acrobat Pro 10.1.16 wiped out the command to merge pdf docs or other docs into one pdf. My laptop has not been updated to the new Acrobat version, 10.1.16 like my desktop and it still has that feature. When you highlight several documents with a left click, then right click, you get the command. That is now missing on my desktop. I went to the Chat, who referred me to various non-sensical sites, including a paid tutorial. The tutorial on the Adobe site regarding this issue for Acrobat DC does not play. I hope that's clear enough.
I've had problems with previous updates on Acrobat and had to repair or reload the software to gain back functionality. By viewing the forums, it looks like a lot of other people are having problems as well. Looks like Adobe may have adopted Microsoft's end stage R&D policy, i.e. "get it mostly ready and do an early release, let the masses finish our Beta testing for us!"

Ah, you mean doing it from the right-click menu in Windows... I think that is gone, yes.
You can still do it from within the application itself, though.

Thanks. In checking on what I actually have, I don't have DC, but an update to 10.1.16 for Acrobat Pro 10X. I know that Adobe is looking to move towards subscriptions, but I haven't done that yet. I purchased Pro a few years ago and have been happy with that, with the exception of the occasional update glitch as I mentioned before. So, I don't understand why it doesn't have that feature now. Thinking I may have to delete and re-load the software, which is what I had to do once a while back when the update screwed up the software. I'll check and see if they're still supporting Pro 10 and, if so, see about getting this done through support. I'm a registered user.

Are you having a problem doing this from within the application?

No. Typically you would go to a file, select the files you wanted to merge with a right click, then left click to get the feature to merge. That is now gone from the left click menu. There is no command within Acrobat Pro to do this.

Actually, I should have said docs to be merged in the previous post.
