I have had major issues with Acrobat DC installed on a Windows 7 - 64 bit problem. It all seemed fine and then Premiere Pro CC wouldn't load, neither could I access my Creative Cloud Desktop. The computer wouldn't shut down and it took several goes before Windows and CC desktop would reboot. Everything was OK until I opened up my Creative Cloud desktop to try and uninstall the installed programmes and then the cycle of hard closures and several re-starts would start all over again. I managed to uninstall all CC programes except Acrobat DC which just would not uninstall ( it kept offering to update and then seizing up during the update and the only way to close it down was to reboot the computer!!).
I finally downloaded the Adobe tool to remove Creative Cloud from my system. I now want to do a fresh install - but suspect all
though all of the CC files have been removed from my computer, Acrobat is still loaded on my account and if I initiate a re-install, it will be loaded back onto my PC. I really want Adobe to remove it from my account,. but it appears they are selling the product without supplying any active support. Any ideas?
uninstall everything cc including the cc desktop app.
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
