Acrobat.exe application error when closing Acrobat after creating a pdf form from an existing document.

I recently ran an update from Acrobat 11.0 to 11.0.14.16. After running some tests, I receive an application error for acrobat.exe when closing Acrobat after creating a pdf form from an existing document.

Is there an issue with the recent  acrobatupd11014.msp?

Hi roberth71,

Can you please share the exact error message.

If you are able to launch Acrobat, open it navigate to Help menu & repair the installation.

Regards,
Aadesh

Hi Aadesh2789,

I decided to uninstall 11.0.14.16 and installed 11.0.0.7 which produced the same results as above.

I uninstalled 11.0.0.7 and installed 11.0.0 and ran the same test but 11.0.0 did not produce the same results. Acrobat 11.0.0 worked just fine. So something has happened to versions after 11.0.0.

Regards,

Robert

Hi Aadesh2789,

The latest update is acrobatupd11014.msp. I have already run against this and it produced the same results.

Something with the later versions is not mixing well with the ntdll.dll.

I have tried this on 2 different systems with the same results.

Regards,

Robert

I also tried to re-register the ntdll.dll file. This did not help unfortunately.
