ACROBAT INSTALL

New Here ,
Mar 17, 2016 Mar 17, 2016

I was running the trial version of Acrobat DC pro for two days; then decided to buy it.

After that all Heck broke loose.  The installation repeatedly fails.  I can't enter the serial number from within the trial version, but am told I have to

go online to download a special file -- which I did.

When I try and install I get a message saying "The Installation Failed" and suggesting I call the software manufacturer!

What seems like it should be a very simple process has turned into one giant headache.

Can anyone help?

Hi Frank Schmalleger,

Please refer this KB doc : Convert Acrobat Pro DC trial to a full license and check if this helps.

If issue still persist try to uninstall Acrobat application (if on Windows, use cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  ) and restart your system.

Then try to install Acrobat from this link: Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

Let us know if you need help.

Regards,

Meenakshi
