New Here ,
Feb 14, 2016 Feb 14, 2016

I have tried all the tips relating to this problem, uninstalled all the adobe/reader apps using the "acro cleaner", but still cannot get the DC pro to run on my computer. I was using Adobe reader, now it's gone. Please help.

Hi ciarand49548729,

Please try running the cleaner tool "Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs" on your machine to remove all traces of Reader.

Then, restart your machine and install the latest version of Acrobat Pro from here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html

Please check with different user account as well :- https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/create-local-administrator-account-windows.html

let me know if it works.

Regards,

Yatharth
