When I built the baseline image for our Windows 7 machines, I
installed Adobe Acrobat 11 with a single serial number. Additionally, when Acrobat 10 reached end of support, I upgraded numerous machines to either Acrobat 11 or Acrobat DC. When I did this I recycled serial numbers as I
was in a hurry. Please note that we
have, and always have had enough serial numbers for the copies of Adobe on our
systems. At some point the Application
realized that the serial numbers had been reused and started prompting people
to kick one another out of the application.
I went to the individual workstations, uninstalled the software and then
reinstalled it ensuring that I utilized a unique serial number. (this was recommended by Adobe support).
Unfortunately, that did nothing to resolve the issue. I don’t know if a registry key is stuck and
causing the issue or what the deal is. Any
assistance that can be provided would be great.
