Acrobat Pro 9 missing after installing CS6

Installed Acrobat Pro 9 (full version) on a Win7 64 bit pc about one month ago everything was working fine. Then I installed CS3 one week ago, everything still working fine. Then yesterday I installed CS6 and now my pdf's open with Acrobat reader. So I went in to associate Pro 9 to open my pdf's and Pro 9 is missing.

I've looked on the hard drive and done searches for the executable and the only thing I can find is this folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0 but it doesn't contain an exe. All I see in that directory is two folders, one is 'Acrobat' with plug in folders and a javascript folder and the other is a resource folder with font and map folders inside.

So the question is should I re-install Pro 9 at this point?

Thanks for your help.

AA 9 is automatically uninstalled with CS6 as I recall. There may be an option to not do the uninstall, but most folks rush through the install process and don't read such details and that may have happened to you. In any case, you will probably have to reinstall AA 9.

Thank you Bill@VT.

I sure didn't notice the option to not do the uninstall and certainly may have missed it.

I re-installed and everything looks good.
