Acrobat Pro DC missing tabs for form field properties?

Hello,

I have a client that uses Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. When she opens the properties of a form field while under "Prepare Form" there seems to be some missing tabs. All she sees is General, Appearance, Position, and Options. She is needing to use some of the others like Action and Format but they are not present (Not even grayed out just not there).

So that I'm clear, the Tabs in red are the ones we are missing

I researched to the best of my ability and couldn't find anything about missing tabs or features that were not included with the Pro DC version. Her colleague has Acrobat Pro 9.2 and has these tabs in the properties otherwise the two versions look identical. I am not sure if they are something that is not included with Pro DC or if there is something we are missing to enable them? Any help would be much appreciated!

Thank you for your help, unfortunately we didn't find the option for "Revert to Acrobat Form" at all but we were able to get the other tabs.

She informed me that she had converted it from a Word Doc, so with this information we converted it again and opened the new PDF with Acrobat. It then went through an extra step of "Scanning" the document and we then had the extra tabs that we were missing. I think this extra "scanning" step was skipped before causing the loss of the more advanced tabs.

This can happen if the form is prepared for signing with EchoSign. Tell her to look for something like "Revert to Acrobat Form" in the Prepare Form mode and then click on it.

No, scanning has nothing to do with it. Either she choose multiple fields before when opening the Properties window, or the file was corrupt, or it was prepared for use with EchoSign, as I originally suggested.

Try opening a document that is not a *.pdf. I was able to get the extra tabs by opening a word doc and from creating a new form.
