Acrobat Pro for Mac 11.0.14 update Not Recognized

Community Beginner ,
Feb 07, 2016 Feb 07, 2016

I received notification there was an update to Acrobat Pro.  I went through the usual procedure and accepted the automated update process.  It failed.  I then downloaded the 11.0.14 update from the Adobe website and attempted a manual update.  When I attempted to mount the AcrobatUpd11014.dmg file, it states, "The following disk image could not be opened because the image is not recognized.

Any idea how to get a valid copy of the disk image so I can update my program?

I tried the methods described in the article and nothing worked except a complete re-installation of the program.  So, Acrobat Pro is now at 11.0.14, but it was not easy to fix.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Greg Knowles,

Please let me know what version of MAC OS you are using.

Also, share the screenshot of the exact error message that appears.

Regards,

Anubha

I am currently running OS X 10.11.3 (El Capitan), which is the latest version.  I am also currently running Acrobat Pro 11.0.13.

Image 1 is the screen I get telling me there is an update.  Image 2 is the failure message I get when it tries to update itself.  Image 3 is the error screen I get when trying to mount the update file from the Adobe website for the 11.0.14 update.
