Acrobat Pro

My Acrobat Pro subscription expired and I need a new acrobat product.  I use acrobat less often and simply need it for downloading and editing PDFs.  I do not want to pay 14.99 a month.  Is there another product that's cheaper that would meet my requirments: downloading and editing pdfs

Downloading files has nothing to do with Acrobat. You probably mean viewing PDF files. That can be done with the free Reader.

What kind of editing do you want to perform on these files?

Thank you. I want to be able to download a PDF, make changes to it, or

convert it to a word doc. Can I do that with the free Adobe Reader?

No, you would need Acrobat for that.

If you're on a Windows machine you can get Acrobat Standard. If you're on a Mac your only option is Acrobat Pro.
