Hi alberty59762081 ,
Please provide the exact dot version of the software & OS installed at your system
Follow this thread to reset the preferences for the Acrobat software :- How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.
Would like to inform that its not compatible with Win 10 & Win 8 , refer to this link :- https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/system-requirements-acrobat-family-products.html
However you may check with the different user account to replicate the issue , refer to this link :- https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/create-local-administrator-account-windows.html

I am current using my Acrobat X with Windows 10. My version of Acrobat X is 10.1.16.13. but as I have mention, I have used the same software from Windows 8, 8.1 and now 10. All these versions if Windows gave me the same result that I can run Acrobat X for few times then after that the software just won't run anymore. Even I reboot the computer, it just won't run it. I have to uninstall and then reinstall the software. But I just keep on getting the same result.
