Application above running on Windows 10 latest security patches and latest updates crashes intermittently.
Windows Defender not running on machine and cannot think of any other changes that would be making the application crash . Seems to be on random PDF's so its not linked to specific files or size of files or age of files that can work out a pattern for.
Also could not find anything via google.
Turned machine off and on again and the usual things

You might see this kind of behavior as Acrobat X is not compatible with Windows 10. You may refer the following link for compatibility for Acrobat: Adobe Acrobat system requirements.
You might try following steps:
1- Run as administrator - try running Acrobat as an administrator, locate Acrobat X shortcut on desktop>right click>select Run as administrator.
2- Restore Acrobat Preferences,
Close Acrobat X.
(ii) Go to C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\10.0
(iii) Move the entire 10.0 folder to some other location like temp folder .
To view temp folder, press and hold Windows key and press R on your keyboard, type temp in the run dialogue box then press enter.
If App data folder is not visible under your user name, launch Windows Explorer, select View in the top left corner>select Options in the top right corner>click on View tab>check the radio button which says Show hidden files, folders, and drives>click Apply and OK. (Windows 10)
(iv) Restart Acrobat again and check if its working fine.
3- If step 2 doesn't fix the issue, try to repair Acrobat>launch Acrobat>click on Help menu>then click Repair installation. After repairing, restart the computer and then launch acrobat and check if its working fine.
4- If step 3 doesn't work, try to remove Acrobat X using Cleaner tool found here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs, restart the computer and then reinstall Acrobat.
Thank You,
Shivam
